James Tarkowski lashed in a thunderous volley deep into second-half stoppage time to rescue a 2-2 draw against rivals Liverpool on Wednesday.

That draw saw Everton extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to four matches, and they are now 10 points clear of the relegation zone.

However, a serious injury for top scorer Iliman Ndiaye has added to Moyes' selection problems ahead of Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace, for which Abdoulaye Doucoure will also be absent after he was sent off following full-time in the Merseyside derby.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Orel Mangala, Youssef Chermiti, Armando Broja and Dwight McNeil are also all out injured, while there are doubts over Nathan Patterson's fitness.

But Moyes insisted this is not a time for Everton to be downcast, as he looks to change the tide after a turbulent few years for the Toffees.

"Over recent years, everybody has brought Everton back down to Earth," he said.

"Why don't we try and keep Everton high for a while? Isn't it nice that everything's positive for a change?

"I have to make sure we're ready. We're not that good that everything's going to be rosy but I'll try to keep upbeat as much as I can and see if we can change the whole feeling around Everton as much as we can.

Palace boss Oliver Glasner,BET999 login meanwhile, expects Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah to be fit to feature at Selhurst Park after they missed Monday's FA Cup win over Doncaster Rovers.

"I expect all three to be back and available for the Everton game. It gives us more options – we need this," he said.

"We travelled to Doncaster with 16 outfield players. We will need everybody [if we are] to be successful until the end of the season."

Mateta (34 goals) needs one more goal to move level with Christian Benteke (35) as Palace's second-top Premier League scorer (Wilfried Zaha top with 68).

The Frenchman has scored six goals in five Premier League games in 2025, more than he managed in his first 19 appearances in the competition in 2024-25 before the turn of the year (four).

Everton - Beto

Beto has scored three goals in his last two Premier League appearances, having filled in up front following Calvert-Lewin's injury.

He opened the scoring against Liverpool with a neat finish, and Moyes will be looking for another big performance from his centre-forward on Saturday.

MATCH PREDICTION: CRYSTAL PALACE WIN

Moyes has lost all three of his managerial meetings with Glasner, twice against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2021-22 Europa League and once against Palace in last season's Premier League.

Only three managers have won each of their first four games against Moyes in the Scot's managerial career: Claudio Ranieri (first six), Alex Ferguson (four), and Manuel Pellegrini (four).

After only winning three of their first 18 Premier League games of the season (D8 L7), Palace have since won four of their last six in the competition (D1 L1). The Eagles have also kept three clean sheets in their last four league games, as many as their previous 15 beforehand.

However, only Ipswich Town and Southampton (both one) have won fewer Premier League home games this season than Palace (two).

After their 1-0 win at Brighton last month, Everton are looking to pick up back-to-back away wins in the Premier League for the first time since a run of four from October to December 2023 – the second win in that spell was a 3-2 triumph at Palace. 

But Everton, who won the reverse fixture 2-1 earlier this season, are winless in their last seven league games away at London clubs (D3 L4), scoring just two goals in this run.
